Claire currently runs a project combining expretise from physical and natural sciences to help save endangered species, using drones and thermal infrared cameras to detect, identify and track rare and endangered animals, in order to monitor their health and populations. She worked for several years as a researcher in extra-galactic astronomy. She worked at the Met Office on the impact of climate change on extreme weather events such as floods, heatwaves, drought (etc). c
