Dr Sam Caslin

Sam specialises in modern British history. Much of her work has focused on twentieth-century prostitution legislation and she has published critiques of the legacy of Britain's solicitation laws. Sam also researches local women's history and is particularly interested in women's philanthropy in Liverpool since the Victorian period. Her more recent work is on British second-wave feminism in the 1970s.
