David Whyte is Professor of Socio-legal Studies. He is currently a Leverhulme Major Research Fellow, working on a long-term research project on corruption in the UK and the developed world. His research and teaching interests are focused on the connections between law and corporate power. He has researched the regulation of business in a wide range of contexts, and the ways that the law maintains and reproduces violence.
