How you can broadcast direct from your office

  1. We install the self-operated camera in your office and connect it to the Globelynx digital fibre-optic network. We agree a suitable ‘backdrop’ image.
  2. TV producers call you to request interviews with your executives/ spokesperson, and then book the airtime online through the Globelynx online booking system.
  3. The Globelynx booking system confirms the interview details with you instantly on line and by e-mail and ensures that your camera is switched to the right broadcaster at the agreed time.
  4. A few minutes of ‘set up’ (managed remotely by Globelynx Master Control Room) followed by the live interview and then ‘back to work’.

Globelynx - an end-to-end single supplier 

We will meet with you to discuss your requirement and help you to choose where best to locate your camera. We will explain the technical requirements at the camera position. A detailed quotation will be sent to you. Once you confirm an order, the lead time is normally 35 - 40 working days, a little longer if you are opting for High Definition. We will keep you informed on progress and advise firm delivery dates when they become known. Globelynx takes care of delivery, installation and testing. We will train your camera user interviewees on site.

Globelynx after sales service 

Once your TVready facility is installed and live the Globelynx team is available during office hours to assist with any aspect of your in-house broadcasting operations. Our 24/7 Master Control Room is always there monitoring your pictures and sound whenever you have a booked broadcast. All you have to do is concentrate on your interview. We will smooth out any last minute niggles directly with the broadcaster without you even knowing. When your camera is not in use our MCR monitors the status of your circuit and issues an instant alert if there are any network issues. We will inform you and the broadcasters and task fibre engineers if needed.
If your camera needed any attention of any sort we can usually have an engineer on site the same or next working day. We will in any case make routine visits to ensure that your camera system is performing at its best.
